We are delighted to invite you to the Selection Day Pitch for the second cohort of the University of Birmingham’s HealthTech AI Hub.

The HealthTech AI Hub is a co-development ecosystem based within the College of Medicine and Health at the University of Birmingham. Funded by the West Midlands HealthTech Innovation Accelerator (WMHTIA), we support the creation of responsible, scalable AI and digital health solutions through industry-academia collaboration.

This year, we are expanding our impact—working alongside strategic partners, including:

  • Investor networks: Plug and Play, MidVen.
  • Technology providers: Cogniss, AWS
  • Regulatory experts: CERSI-AI, Scarlett, Element.
  • Academic Expert Groups: HealthTech AIHub, Institute of Data and AI

Cohort 2 highlights include:

  • Regulatory guidance for software/AI as a medical device
